Dr Soniya Raju

Soniya is the Academic Coordinator at Auckland International Campus, supporting academic operations, governance and quality assurance. Soniya brings seven years of experience in academic administration across tertiary institutions in New Zealand and India. 

At Auckland University of Technology, Soniya provided executive-level coordination for the School of Clinical Sciences, supporting senior leadership with governance documentation, performance reporting and committee coordination across two departments. Soniya has also taught at Wintec. 

Previously, as Accreditation Coordinator and Quality Audit Team Lead, Soniya prepared compliance reports for national regulators, coordinated external reviews, and served on the committee that oversaw the institution's transition to autonomous university status. 

Soniya  holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Waikato and a Master's in Engineering Technology from Karunya College of Engineering.
