Final Coffee Connect of 2026 Creates Space for Advice and Connection

Our final Coffee Connect for 2026, held in Week 1 of Block 4, brought together seven alumni and 17 students for an afternoon of conversation, connection and practical advice.

The event gave new students a relaxed space to hear directly from those who had already walked the AIC journey. Over hot drinks and a light lunch, alumni shared their experiences of balancing work and study, navigating the transition into employment, and making the most of the opportunities available on campus.

Small-group conversations kept the session personal and easy to join, giving students the confidence to ask questions they might not usually raise in class.

One message came through clearly: make the most of everything AIC has to offer, from employability support and student events to the guidance of lecturers and support teams.

As one alumnus shared, “Get the maximum out of your experience, and it will help you all to be whatever you want to be in the future.”

A huge thank you to our alumni for generously sharing their time, experiences and advice, and to every student who came along ready to listen, learn and connect.

Coffee Connect returns on Saturday, 13 February 2027. New and returning students are warmly welcome, and for those completing their AIC journey in 2026, we would love to welcome some familiar faced back as alumni.
